CORBUS was a project I created in order to help me learn how to use Figma. Based on the premise that we might eventually live in a world when technology has advanced to the point where organs can be developed and readily distributed, CORBUS is an app that assists in the transport and delivery of those organs. I took inspiration from food delivery apps available already, while also leaning on the imagery of a stork delivering a baby. However, instead of a stork, CORBUS uses the imagery of a crow. The name CORBUS is derived from the Latin word corpus, meaning a part of a body that is dead, and corvus, the name of the species the crow belongs to. The “BUS” part of the name alluding to the method of transport.

This is a proof of concept. Should I continue working on this app, I would expand the brand identity and documentation. I would also sumbit the app for further user testing. The first prototype of the app is available here: CORBUS
